Thank You, YYZ Members
Thank you to all YYZ Above-the-Wing members who took the time to participate in the recent Workplace Representative election. Strong member engagement is the foundation of a healthy and democratic union, and every member who voted contributed to that strength.
A sincere thank you also goes to every candidate who put their name forward. Running for an elected position requires commitment and a willingness to serve your coworkers, and we are grateful to each of you for stepping up. While not every candidate can be elected, your willingness to participate is invaluable to the continued growth of our Local. We look forward to inviting those who were not successful in this election to become involved with a new or existing Local committee of their choice, where their ideas, experience, and enthusiasm will continue to make a meaningful difference.
Finally, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to our outgoing Workplace Representatives. Your dedication, leadership, and countless hours of service have been instrumental in the growth and success of our newly formed Local. The foundation you have helped build will benefit our members for years to come, and we know your contributions to Local 531 are far from over.
